What a code proves
A code is made at the moment a document is issued and kept with the issued copy in the building's record, which only ever grows. What opens here is that copy. If the paper in your hand says something different, the paper has been altered. A later assessment or report never rewrites an earlier one; when there is a later issue, this page says so.
What a code does not prove: that the building is compliant. Legionella Ready records assessments, schemes and monitoring. It does not certify them and does not replace a competent assessor's judgement.
